I do not own a booth yet. Where do I start?

Create a free account, download the booth app, then follow the setup wizard to connect your camera, printer, and first layout. If you would like a hand, our team walks you through it on WhatsApp — usually done in 1–2 working days, test print included.

I am not technical. Will I be overwhelmed?

Accepted Answer

No coding and no networking know-how needed. Everything is set from the dashboard: drag elements to design booth screens, drag boxes to build the session flow. If you get stuck, send a screenshot to our WhatsApp and we show you the step.

Question 3

My booth is for weddings, not a studio. Does it fit?

Accepted Answer

It does. You build the session flow yourself: for weddings, unplug the payment screen so guests shoot for free; for walk-in studios, plug in the queue and QRIS screens. One account can store several flows and you swap them per event.

Question 4

How is "design it yourself" different from changing themes elsewhere?

Accepted Answer

Themes only let you swap colours, backgrounds, and text — the screen layout still belongs to the developer, so your booth looks like everyone else's. Here you decide what sits on each screen, where, and how big, including the pay and print buttons.

Can I keep the camera and printer I already own, or do I need new ones?

Accepted Answer

Usually you keep them. Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Fujifilm DSLR/mirrorless cameras connect straight to the booth; DNP, HiTi, Mitsubishi photo printers and thermal receipt printers are supported too. Send us your gear list if you want it confirmed before subscribing.

Question 6

My venues often have no internet. Does the booth stop?

Accepted Answer

No. Photos are stored on the booth first and transactions are still recorded; everything sends itself once the internet is back. If something fails to send, resend it from the app without losing the session.

Question 7

I have booths in several places. Do I open an app for each?

Accepted Answer

No. Every booth in every location shows up on one dashboard: machine status, prints in progress, and incoming sessions. You can also invite operators and limit what they see per location.

Are my photos and transactions safe?

Accepted Answer

Data lives on encrypted cloud servers with regular automatic backups. Guest photos are reached through links/QR codes whose validity you can limit, and operators only see the data you allow.

I use dslrBooth today. Are my old templates lost?

Accepted Answer

No. Upload the dslrBooth template ZIP through Import Layout and it becomes a ready-to-use layout — sizes, photo slots, and images included. The only thing you rebuild is the booth screens, because those are the part you design yourself here.

Where does QRIS money go, and when can I withdraw it?

You can use your own payment provider (Xendit, Midtrans, DOKU) so money lands in your account directly, or use Gabooth Platform QRIS — payments arrive as a balance on the dashboard and can be withdrawn to a bank account any time; the minimum and transfer fee are shown on the balance page.

Any hidden fees or a cut per session?

Accepted Answer

No setup fee, no maintenance fee, and no per-transaction cut from us. The price on the pricing page is what you pay; software updates and new features are included while your subscription is active.

I want to go from 1 booth to several mid-period. Can I?

Accepted Answer

Yes, straight from the dashboard. Upgrades are prorated for the rest of the period. Downgrades take effect at the next billing period.

If it turns out not to fit, do I get my money back?

Accepted Answer

There is a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription. If within the first 30 days you feel this is not what you need, ask for a full refund — no interrogation.

How can I pay?

Bank transfer (BCA, Mandiri, BNI, BRI), e-wallets (GoPay, OVO, DANA, ShopeePay), and QRIS. Enterprise customers can pay by invoice with terms and instalments.

My staff keeps changing. Is there training?

Free onboarding training for every new user: setup, daily features, and tips for arranging the booth flow so guests do not pile up. Repeat it whenever you add a new operator.

Do software updates disrupt operations?

Updates and new features are included in the subscription and installed while the booth is idle. The old version keeps working until you are ready to update, so there is never a forced update mid-event.
